Vito Vittorio Rizzi, age 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on January 1, 2024. Vito was the beloved husband of Francesca "Franca", nee Caputo, for 55 wonderful years; loving father of Vito, Dominic (Erin) and Richie (Dina) Rizzi; dear son of the late Vito and Francesca Rizzi; cherished grandfather of Julia, Daniela, Sofia, Massimo, Francesca, Avery and Vaughn; dearest brother of Giuliano Rizzi, Antonia (Nicola) Bellantuono and the late Riccardo and Maria Rizzi and Antonia Tenerelli. Vito was a fond uncle and cousin of many.  He was a member of the Santa Maria Adolorata Club. 



Visitation Friday, January 5, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Paul of the Cross Church in Park Ridge for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines, IL.
