Steven Macko, age 76, U.S. Army Veteran, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2022, with his family by his side. Steven is the beloved husband of Luba, nee Iszczuk, for 46 wonderful years; loving father of Peter and Andy (Amanda Monserrate) Macko; dearest son of the late Lillian and Peter Macko; dear brother of Robert (Darlene) and Jerry Macko, Lesia Bakum and Terry Macko; Steven was a member of Chicago UAV Post 32 and the Chicago American Legion Post 943. Visitation Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Panachyda Service 7:00 p.m.) at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Saint Joseph the betrothed Ukrainian Catholic Church in Chicago for a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Saint Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
