Obituary for Sophia Barbara Korabik
Sophia B. Korabik, nee Parzatka, age 97, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2023. Sophia was the beloved wife of the late Henry "Hank"; loving mother of Candace A. (Gerald) Lapka, Linda C. (Felix) Opalka and Leslie J. (Heide) Korabik; cherished grandmother of Amanda Lapka, Jessica Korabik, Hilary (Dave) Wischmeyer, Justin (Tracy) Korabik, Kyle (Kelly) and Ryan Korabik; great grandmother of Jason, Riley and Wyatt. Sophia was preceded in death by 3 sisters and and 1 brother and she was a fond aunt of many.

Visitation Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to St. Beatrice Church in Schiller Park for Mass at 11:00 a.m. and the entombment will follow at Christ the King Mausoleum in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
