Sirena Iannotta (DiVito) age 67, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on April 15, 2023. Sirena was the beloved wife of Olimpio for 47 wonderful years; loving mother of Mariana (Brett) Curtis and Christian (Nancy) Iannotta; dearest daughter of the late Carmela and Antonio; cherished nonna of Natalia and Nico Iannotta; dear sister of Fausto (Liberata) and Victor DiVito; fond aunt of many.
Sirena lived for her family with nonna duties above all else. She often referred to her children as her biggest accomplishments in life - her gems. She loved her work as a jewelry consultant and beautician. She was a sassy yet fancy, small but mighty fighter who loved being a wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Visitation Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
Funeral services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) in Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at the Crucifixion Garden Mausoleum within St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
