Obituary for Sean Folan
Sean Folan, age 88, passed away peacefully at his home on May 10, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Sean was the beloved husband of Ann, nee Cooney, for 53 wonderful years; loving father of Barbara Ann Folan, Marty (Kelly) and Sarah (Gary Henley) Folan and Mary "Maureen" (James) McGrath; dear son of the late Sarah and Martin Folan; cherished grandfather of Sean, Aidan, Alannah, Ronan and James; dearest brother of Colman (Kathleen), Tommy (Maureen), and the late Val (the late Maire) and the late Martin (Helen) Folan; fond uncle of many.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org would be appreciated.
Visitation Sunday, May 14, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL
Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Beatrice Church (Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish) in Schiller Park for Mass at 10:00 a.m.
The interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. For more information call (708)456-8300.
