Ruben Purificacion, age 84, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 31, 2023. Ruben was the beloved husband of Virginia, nee Teves; loving father of Renan Purificacion, Racquel (Andy) Lopez and Romina (Richard) Genova; dearest son of the late Emiliana and Francisco Purificacion; cherished grandfather of Renzo, Releen, Rubendel, and Regine Purificacion, Annette and Arianne Lopez and Paolo and Cece Genova; great grandfather of Sofia and Cara; dear brother of Teresita Jalandoni and the late Rene, Totoy and Ding; beloved Tatay to everyone!!

Visitation Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.

Funeral services begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Monica Church, 5136 N Nottingham, Chicago, IL for Mass at 12:30 p.m.

The interment will take place at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.
