Rodell M. "Dee" Dahl, nee Dowdle, age 79, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2023 with her family by her side. Rodell is the beloved wife of Thomas S. for 53 wonderful years; loving mother of Roxann M., Thomas S., Jr. (Andrea), James M., Robert S. (Kristina Martinko) and Mark A. (Tammy Lintz) Dahl; dearest daughter of the late Ruth and Bernard Dowdle; cherished grandmother of Justin (Mandy) and Brandon Jagarnauth, Jakob Dahl-Crimmins, Briana (C.J. Clancy) and Shane Dahl, Noah (Keyla), Jenna and Jeremy Dahl-Crimmins, Blake and Caleb Juszczyk, Madalynn Dahl and Kurtus Martinko; great grandmother of Dante, Misha and and Lila; dear sister of the late Barbara Jean (the late David) Jones; fond aunt of Sherry, Steve, Deb, Jason, Louie, Danny Boy, Tom, Dave, Camille, Danielle, Louie, the late Marla and many other nieces and nephews.

Dee was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a crossing guard with the Village of Schiller Park. She loved bowling and spending time with her family camping and going to the racetrack.

Visitation Friday, January 27, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Friends and family will gather at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, for a funeral service beginning at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at Acacia Park Mausoleum.
