Robert  "Bob" E. Chubb Jr., age 76, at rest on December 14, 2023. Robert was a Veteran in the United States Army. Beloved husband of Carol M. Chubb (nee Montalbano). Loving father of Chris Chubb (Sandra Montiel) and Scott Chubb (Chuck Grayeb). Cherished son of the late Robert E. Chubb Sr. and the late Rita (nee Brennock) and step mother of the late Theresa (nee Vargo) Chubb. Dear brother of Richard "Rick" (Carol) Chubb. Fond uncle of Michael Chubb, Anjelica Chubb-Popov (god daughter), step brother of Francene Fricano. Fond Uncle of Guy Fricano, Francesca Fricano, and the late Christopher Fricano. Bob was a dear cousin and friend to many.  Robert was a union pipe fitter for Union Local 597 for 35 years and was a musician for over 60 years. He also loved the Chicago Bears and was a fan of rock and heavy metal music. Visitation for Bob will take place on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Il.
