Robert Frank Boeing born February 7, 1936, to Myrtle and Herman Boeing. Born
in an apartment on Southport in Chicago. Older sisters, Geraldine Boeing, and Janet (John) Ataniso. Parents and sisters preceded Bob in death. Robert or Bob as his friends called him, lived on Oketo Ave. in Norridge, Il from the
age of 9yrs until 79yrs. After Bob lost his beloved sister and best friend, Geraldine, he moved to the independent living at Windsor Park in Carol Stream, Illinois. When his health
deteriorated, Bob moved in with his niece, Jana and her husband Brad Saturday. They took care of “Uncle Bob” until his passing on March 26, 2023. Bob served in the Army as part of the Corp of Engineers. He did his service in Korea at the end of the war. His unit was responsible for rebuilding the areas ravished by the war. When Bob returned home, he worked as a sheet metal fabricator at a tool & die company. He was very proud of his work. Bob’s love of cars started at an early age. One of his many treasured cars was a 1956 corvette. This love of cars led to his retirement hobby of digital photography. He would travel the local classic car shows and photograph the most beautiful cars and
motorcycles. Bob also loved to photograph Chicago landscapes, zoo animals and his sister’s garden, Bob didn’t have a lot of friends but ones he did have, were lifelong. Some were grammar school friends. Bob was a devoted son, brother and uncle. Family was everything to him.
