Loving father of John (CPD) (Melixa) Behnke, Christine (Ryan) Delaney, Michael (Emma) Behnke, Raymond (Mitchelle) Behnke, David Behnke and Karen (Joey) Perrone. Cherished papa of John, Laura, Jessica, Rachel, Sarah, Lily, Lauren, Raymond, Matthew, Louie and Ava. Brother-in-law of William (CFD) (Patricia) O'Connell. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and dearest friend of Paul Vitaioli (CPD), Bruno Gobbo (CPD), the late Deacon Sonny (Barbara) Annoreno and life long friend of Don (Paulette) Neri. Raymond was a devoted husband and father who loved sports, fishing and horse racing. 31 year retired Chicago Police Officer(15th 19th district). Veteran of the United States Army "Big Red One". Know as Ernie to many lifelong friends from grammar school through high school to finally enlisting into the United States Army and they have remained friends till the end. Ray will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation for Raymond will take place on Friday, June 10th, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. The funeral will then proceed to Our Lady Mother of the Church for 11:30 am Mass. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
