Mary Candelora, nee Riscossa, age 94, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2022. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni; loving mother of Rose L. (Michael) Kubik, Patricia Hart, Angela T. Candelora-Englund and the late Carmella O'Neill, Josephine Varga and Annmarie Challenger; dearest daughter of the late Rose and Pasqiuale Riscossa; cherished grandmother of Lisa Marie, Lori Ann, Rich, Denise, Gabriella, Marissa, Reanna, Lindsey, Ariana, Leah, Charlene, Eric and Giovanni; great grandmother of many; dear sister of the late Vito, Joseph, Theresa, and Carmella; fond aunt of many. Visitation Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the Church in Chicago for mass at 10:30 a.m. The entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum in River Grove.
