Maria Kunca, nee Limburger, age 84, passed away peacefully at her home on October 14, 2022. Maria was the loving wife of the late Stephan; loving mother of Stephan (Isabelle) and Irene Kunca; dearest daughter of the late Gertrude and Johann Limburger; cherished grandmother of Stephan and Veronique Kunca; dear sister of Herman Limburger and Kathy Braschler and the late Johann, Jacob and Kati; fond aunt of many. Maria was a member of the American Aid Society of German descendants. Visitation Friday, October 21, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The funeral service will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
