Maria Carmen Aguado, 80, affectionately known as ‘La Chata’, passed away September 8, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Aguado for 36 wonderful years. Loving mother of Jose Juan, Marylou (Leobardo), Beatrice, Laura (Carlos), the late Bernardo I, the late Bernardo II (Gina), and the late Rosa Maria. Cherished grandmother of Maria, Antonio, Andy, James, Jason, William, Jacob, Dominic, Simon, Lilian, and Cecilia. Great grandmother of Nathaniel, Amira, Romelo, Natalia, and Philip. Dog grandma to Tzarina, Armani, Max, Sophia, Loki, Cubby. Dear sister of Ines, Maria de Jesus, the late Vincente, and the late Manuel. Fond aunt and godmother to many. Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin Friday at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. then proceed to Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, St. Joseph Chapel, Des Plaines, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
