Peggy was so good to me as an intern at NBC. We always talked and told stories at the front desk. I will never forget what she told me when I said goodbye to her after my internship was over in 1988. I gave her a hug and Peggy said "you will be back", she was the first person I saw at the front desk/ door when I did come back for my interview at NBC. I immediately felt calm just seeing her. She was also the first person I saw when I did come back officially on my first day as the investigative reporter in 93. RIP Peg.

I should say in 93 she said "I told you so".

'Dear Gill family,

I'm so sorry that you're enduring the painful loss of your Dear Mom, Peggy. Here at Maple Pointe, she was so
visible before the last miserable year of lockdown, sitting downstairs and chatting in the living room or around the
building. Ever wise and feisty, you always knew what she thought about something. Her sharp, snappy sense of
humor, our fun bus shopping trips, her wisecracking with us and the bus driver, and her stubborn independence .. ,
these always shone through. And her kindness will remain in my memories of her always. That was Peggy. I
miss her. God love her dearly and bring peace and comfort to you all, til you meet again.

My prayers,
Joyce Harris
