Lowell Douglas "Doug" Holder, age 84, U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021. Doug was the beloved husband of Norma, nee Michelotti, for 56 wonderful years; loving father of Victoria L. (Dennis) Schweitzer, Michelle L. (the late Daniel) Healy, Craig B. and the late David M. (Kara) Holder; dearest son of the late Reva and Lloyd Holder; cherished grandfather of Michael Seidl, Ryan (Justy) Holder, Dennis and Anthony Schweitzer, Max Holder and Zech Smith; great grandfather of Benjamin, Dominick and Ezra; dear brother of Marcella (the late Joe) Gard and the late Geraldine and the late Lloyd (Kathy) Holder. Visitation Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until the presentation of U.S. Naval Military Honors at 5:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The interment will be private. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time.
