Liboria " Borina" Paterno, age 86, at rest on April 4, 2022. Liboria was born in Barrafranca, Sicily. Beloved wife of the late Pietro Paterno. Loving mother of Joseph (Julie) Paterno, Phyllis Paterno and Tina (Jeffrey) Streichhirsch. Proud grandmother of Peter, Nicholas, Angelina, Jaclyn and Francesca. Liboria was proceeded in death by three brothers and two sisters and survived by one sister, Filippa, and will remembered by many. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Il. Funeral Friday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 am and will then proceed to St. Mother Theodore Guerin Catholic Parish (St. Celestine) Elmwood Park, Il. for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Il.
