Joseph Lendino, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home on September 18, 2023. Dearest son of the late Narda and the late Joseph Lendino; Joe was the beloved husband of the late Johann, nee Viverito; loving father of Joseph (Victoria) and Anthony (Michele) Lendino, Loretta (Steve) Mathes and Tina (Sean) Fitzgerald; cherished grandfather of Brian (Erika Kalpakoff), Zachary (Nicole), Madeline, Nicolas and Amanda and the late Alyssa Lendino, Owen and Jack Mathes, Emma, Audrey and Gavin Fitzgerald; dear brother of the late Mary (the late Raymond) Zgonina. Fond uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Joe's positive attitude and cheerful smile touched us deeply. His love of dancing and his sense of humor lit up the room.
Visitation Monday, September 25, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Bartholomew Church in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
