Jan “Punky” Margaret LaRiviere was born November 7th 1950 to Carl and Mary Anderson, the oldest of 3 children. Born and raised in Franklin Park and graduated from East Leyden High School.
During her sophomore year in East Leyden she met and eventually married Larry LaRiviere and on June 25th, 2022 celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Punky and Larry were blessed with 2 children, Jason LaRiviere and Amy LaRiviere (Jorge Rivera) and 2 grand children Jake and Michael.
Punky also enjoyed her career as a receptionist for dermatologist, Doctor Julie Moore.
An extraordinary loving spirit that was loved by so many. Punky will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Visitation Sunday, November 6, 2022 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin Monday 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Cyprian Church in River Grove for Mass at 10.00 a.m. Interment Private.
