Ida Cribari, nee Marchese, age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on April 15, 2023. Ida was the beloved wife of the late Emilio for 58 wonderful years; loving mother of Teresa "Terri' (Frank) Costabile and Emil (Carmen) Cribari; dearest daughter of the late Rosina, nee Cardile, and the late Carmine Marchese; cherished grandmother of Michelle (Leo) Shvarster, Enrico Costabile and Paolo Cribari; adoring super-nani of Leah and Joey; dear sister of the late Francesco, Antonio, Concetta and Marietta; fond aunt of Josephine (Sebastiano) Bondi and many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation Thursday, April 20, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Rosalie Church 4401 N. Oak Park Ave., Harwood Heights, IL for Mass at 10:00 a.m., and the entombment will follow at Christ the King Mausoleum in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. For more information call (708)456-8300.
