Georgette Boutrous Samaan, age 79, born on April 23, 1944, in the Holy Land of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2024 with her children at her side. Georgette was the beloved wife of the late Ibrahim "Abe" Samaan; loving mother of Sally (James), Christine (Frank), John (Cicely) and Peter (Maria); dear daughter of the late Khatoun and Peter Boutrous; cherished grandmother of Gabriel, Anthony, Ethan, Alexander, Nicholas, Sophia, Ava, Matthew, Monica, Anna and Isabella; dearest sister of the late Jabra, Said, Paul, Esther, Mary and Helena and a fond auntie of many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation Monday, April 1, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, family and friends will meet at St. John the Baptist Syriac Orthodox Church 250 S.
