George Karahalios, age 75, left us on April 27, 2022. Beloved husband of Dana (nee Petronele) and the late Anastasia (nee Sorra). Loving father of Harry and John Karahalios (badasses, both, who gave him hell but love him dearly). Brother of Nicholas Karahalios and the late Panagiotis Karahalios. Uncle of Georgia Agalianos, Georgia Karahalios and Haralambos Karahalios. George had to be dragged to visit any other country that wasn’t Greece. He was happiest when fishing and spending half the year in Corinth, Greece. He will be greatly missed.

The visitation will take place on Friday, April 29, 2022. from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 30, 2022. with visitation at Holy Transfiguration Chapel in Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, Il. at 12:00 noon with a 1:00 pm service to follow. Interment will follow at the graveside in Elmwood Cemetery.
