Frank Schmidt, age 53, passed away peacefully on  August 23, 2023. He was the beloved son of Peggy Schmidt, brother of Dominick Grande, who he loved both more than life itself and a dear nephew of Richard F. Mell. Frank was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank C. and Jean Tornabene, whom he loved and cherished deeply. He was a devoted uncle to his many nieces, nephews and cousins, and his warm and friendly personality left a lasting impact on all those who knew him. Frank was truly loved by all who had the chance to meet him. Visitation for Frank will take place on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 3:00 until 9:00 pm and on Tuesday, from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. 60706. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Our thoughts and prayers are with Frank's family and friends during this difficult time.
