Evaristo Hernández, age 83, at rest on August 22, 2023 surrounded by his beloved family. Beloved husband of Anastacia Hernández; loving father of Sonia (Jose) Gomez, Horacio (Marta) Hernández and Anita (Guillermo) Diaz; fond grandfather of Maira (Antonio) Iniguez, Erika (Christian) Rosales, Omar Gomez, Guillani (Kareem) Shareef, Alondra Diaz, Gael Diaz, Guillermo Diaz, Horacio Hernández, Jr., Michael Hernández, Emmanuel Hernández and Fiona Hernández; great grandfather of Amaris, AnaÏs and Janely Shareef and Alonso Flores; dear brother of Paulina Hernández. Evaristo loved his beloved pet El Coronel and many other pets throught his life.  Visitation for Evaristo will take place on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Monday, beginning at the funeral home at 10:45 am and then proceed to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 4640 N Ashland Ave, Chicago, IL 60640 for 12:00 Noon Mass. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Il.  (Please note Parking in any parking lot around the church is Prohibited. Only Street parking permitted)
