Obituary for Dolores Genevieve Van Vorous
Dolores G. "Dee" Van Vorous, nee Hinchey, age 90, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023. Dolores was the beloved wife of the late James; loving mother of Mary (Steve) Mikos and Jamie (Mary) Van Vorous; dearest daughter of the late Veronica and James Hinchey; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Rich) Benavides, Alexander (Genesis) and Daniel (Juliet) Mikos and Remy Van Vorous; great grandmother of Ryan, Daniel, Jacob, September "Emmie" and Rhea; dear sister of the late Arthur (the late Irene) Wolfe and the late Eugene (the late Ann) Wolf; fond aunt of many.
Dolores was a member of the wive's Club of both the Knights of Columbus in Schiller Park and the American Legion in River Grove, and she was a member of the Women's Club of St. Beatrice Parish in Schiller Park.
Visitation Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The interment will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines. For more information call (708)456-8300.
