Dawn Alicia Remis, nee Kuffer, age 61, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021. Dawn was the beloved wife of William "Bill" Remis for 38 wonderful years; dearest daughter of the late Irene M., nee McBride, and the late Donald A. Kuffer; cherished granddaughter of the late Ruth, nee Jernberg, and the late Arthur O. Kuffer; dear sister of Dorene (Susan Dougherty) Kuffer; loving daughter-in-law of the late Dolores, nee Jakubczak, and the late Alfred Remis; loving sister-in-law of Susan Remis, Sandra Remis (Edward Iacconi) and the late Steven (Patricia) Remis, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, and dear cousin of Michael Davis. Dawn was formerly a Customer Service Representative with Dow Chemical Corp and subsequently a Realtor with Coldwell Banker in Glenview. She is survived by a family of close, loving friends who will feel her loss terribly. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Zimba. Visitation Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. and the interment will be private. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time.
