Danuta Okrzesik, nee Formas, age 83, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 7, 2022. Danuta was the beloved wife of the late Stanislaw; loving mother of Halina (Jozef) Jedlinski, Renata Okrzesik and Wanda (Rosario) Guercio; cherished grandmother of Gabriella Guercio; dear sister of Weronika (the late Stanislaw) Gaszman and she was preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters. Danuta was a fond aunt to Wes, Janusz, Wanda, John, the late Edward and Paul and many other nieces and nephews in Poland. Visitation Monday, December 12, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to Queen of All Saints Basilica for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, IL.
