Daniel DiVito, 97, of Chicago, at rest August 16, 2022. Danny immigrated from Italy to Chicago in 1952, where he met and married his beloved wife, Atillia Ciccone. He led a life of honest, hard work and was dedicated to his family, nuclear and extended. He was instrumental in helping his father and brothers bring their families to America as well. He was a fearless pioneer in every sense of the word. He truly loved his family, America and his mother land, Italy.
Beloved husband of the late Tillie (nee Ciccone); loving father of Claudia Skuros, Theresa Hannan and Donna (Christopher) DiFranco; devoted grandfather of Danielle and Jimmy (Sydney) Skuros, Monica (Alex) Stolte, Renee Hannan, Andrea, Charlie and Tia DiFranco; dearest brother of Maria (the late Domenico) Colantuono, John (Filomena) DiVito, Lorenzo (Connie) DiVito and the late Sr. Anna DiVito, Antonio (the late Carmella) DiVito and Luigi (the late Santina) DiVito; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday 9:45 A.M. from Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge to St. Eugene Church for a 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation Friday 3-8 P.M.
