Obituary for Carol J. Murray

CAROL DEASY DUGAN MURRAY
Carol passed away at her son's home in Ingleside, IL on March 12, 2021 at the age of 79 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 20, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert and Josephine Deasy. Carol graduated from Steinmetz High School in 1959. She went to work for Motorola in 1963 and retired 35 years later in 1998. Carol traveled to London, England, Scotland, China and Puerto Rico as Motorola's Quality Control Manager for their Distribution Centers. While in grammar school Carol and her girlfriends formed a club call the Muskrats, they later changed the name to "Ebetts" while in high school. This wonderful group of ladies still gets together as often as possible. During her free time she loved spending time at her summer home with her family and friends. Carol was a beautiful person to know and love, she was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who have been blessed by her presence.

Dear Grandmother of Jessica, Colleen, Emmanuel, Kelsey, Shawn, Diana, Taylor, Kaley, Meghan, Payton, Shauna, Edward, Keighley and Teagan. Dear Great Grandmother to nine great grandchildren. Loving Sister to Kathleen (Adrian) Goret, nephew Fred Goret, niece Kristen Ray and great nephews, Parker, Mason and Landon plus many cousins. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Josephine Deasy, her first husband Bill Dugan, her son Patrick Dugan and her second husband Edward (Sam) Murray.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL. Funeral Service Monday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Private.
Masks will be required.
