Bert L. Harris, Jr., 74; Devoted father of Daniel L. (Leslie) Harris and Carrie (Bill) Ghiselli; Cherished grandfather of Cory and Kyle Huffman; Beloved son of the late LaVerne and the late Bert Harris, Sr.; Loving brother of the late Linda (the late Moe) Karklins. Bert was so proud to be the 4th generation of the Harris family employed with the Chicago Tribune, a tradition that lasted 110 years. He had 42 years of service as an advertising sales executive in entertainment, real estate, and regional retail. Friends and family are to meet Wednesday Feb. 1st at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (1190 N. Hicks Rd Palatine) for 10:00 a.m. funeral service.
