Obituary for Anthony F Sansone
Anthony ‘Tony’ Frank Sasone, 74, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2023 at his home. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 23, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to St. Eugene Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery, Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum.
Anthony was born on December 20, 1948 in Chicago to Anthony and Ann Sansone. He was a 1967 graduate of Schurz High School. He retired after a successful career as an electrician for the City of Chicago. He married Beatrice Jacinto and together they celebrated 52 years of marriage. Besides spending time with family and friends, Anthony devoted his time to coaching area youth in basketball and many other sports.
Anthony is survived by his wife Beatrice; children Donald, Keith (Lucy Padilla), and Alison (Brandon Yates); granddaughters Leona and Liberty Sansone, Sophie and Luna Yates; niece Annmarie Belmonte.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Ann, and a sister, Leona Sansone. Info: 708-456-8300
