Obituary for Annette B. Cameron

Annette B. Cameron age 93, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. Annette was born on August 27, 1929 in Chicago, Il. to the late James Andrew and the late Annette (nee Curtis). She was also proceeded in death by her late Husband of 57 years, Leslie Cameron. Annette spent her life serving the community as a Girl Scout Leader since the time she was 18. She not only led one troop but she was the beloved leader for girls at all levels from Brownies, Juniors, Cadets and Seniors. Throughout her lifetime, she served in various leadership positions for the Girl Scouts of Chicago and Northwest Indiana and was loved and respected by all. She loved working with girls of all ages and felt by doing so, made positive impacts on their lives. Anette was also a devout Lutheran and was very involved in her church. She was a member of the United in Faith Lutheran Church and more recently attended weekly services at the Danish Home in Norwood Park. Annette is survived by her daughter Beverly (Bob) Privratsky and her granddaughters Tatia (Kenny) Kuehn and Lori (Josh) Herzog and her great granddaughters, Charlotte (Charlie), Kinsley and Sawyer. She loved spending time with each and every one of them. She held her family close to her heart. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 9:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Deacon Carole Edwards will officiate the service. Interment will follow the service at Eden Memorial Park in Schiller Park, Il.
