Angela Mignano, nee Vasco, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home on May 7, 2022. Angela was the beloved wife of the late Antonino; loving mother of Madeline (Scott) Borkin, Eleanora (William) Tomasik and Domenica (Nick) Santucci; dearest daughter of the late Leonarda and Giovanni; cherished nonna of Nicole and Natalie Tomasik, Michael Santucci, Jacob Borkin and Anthony Santucci; dear sister of Michele and Frederico Vasco, the late Antoinettte Stramaglia, Vincenzo, Leonardo, Tony and Giuseppe Vasco; fond aunt of many. Angela was the former owner of Angie's Restaurant in Chicago. Angela loved and cared for all. She lived kindness and love like no other. ‘A mothers love liberates’ - Maya Angelou.
