Fond grandfather of Kirsten, Mark, Chris, Raymond, Katherine and Jenna. Beloved son of the late Alex, Sr. and Albina nee Cozzola. Son-in-law of Rosanna and the late Marco Glitta. Dear brother of the late Viola (Fred) Bernacchi and Gerald (Evelyn) Piemonte. Brother-in-law of Dominic (Katherine) Glitta and Deanna (Jamison) Starks. Fond uncle, cousin and friend of many. Legend in the auto industry for over 50 years. Al was proud to have served his country in the Korean War. He later served his community with his participation on many boards including the Chicago Auto Trade Association, the Ford Dealers' Advertising Board for over 20 years, Villa Scalabrini, and several local bank boards. He was Man of the Year for the Italian American National Union. For his many years of owning a successful business and for his community service, officials in Melrose Park named a street in Al's honor.
